Official opening of New Horizon Lions Club of New York with Tarek as President and Sohail as General Secretary

The international service organization Lions Clubs International has set a new milestone in humanitarian activities in the Bangladeshi diaspora community in New York.The official opening of the New Horizon Lions Club of New York was announced through a grand press conference organized by District 20-R2 (District 20-R2) at the Party Hall.
The event was presided over by the president of the organization and prominent businessman Tarek Hasan Khan and moderated by general secretary and community leader Ahmed Sohail. Joint general secretary Sajjadur Rahman Khan andVarious social and cultural and community dignitaries, media workers and well-wishers were present in this press conference held in collaboration with the coordinator of joint common wealth, Tahmina Sweety.
This new club is a part of the world’s largest humanitarian organization. Founded in 1917, Lions Clubs International currently has 46,000 members in more than 200 countries and regions.Working with more clubs and around 14 lakh members. Inspired by the motto “We Serve”, Lions Clubs have been playing a leading role in education, health, sight conservation, hunger relief, environment conservation and disaster response worldwide.
The New Horizon Lions Club of New York is not a parallel organization to any existing club; It is a newly chartered club, aimed at the expatriate Bangladeshis and the wider communityActively engage in human service activities.
District Governor Lion Asef Bari Tutul of District 20-R2 (District 20-R2, New York) spoke as the chief guest at the press conference. He has played a historic role in approving a new chartered club in the Bangladeshi community for nearly 10 years. He said, “Expatriate Bangladeshis are always ahead in social service. New Horizon Lions Club of New York community.It will usher in a new chapter of human service.”
