Formation of new executive committee.

Mansoor Ahmad Chowdhury is nominated as Chairman, Justice Salma Masood Chowdhury as Senior Vice-Chairman and T.H.M. Jahangir as General Secretary.

The new executive committee of Sylhet Ratna Foundation, a social organization of the meritorious people of Sylhet Division, has been formed. The Chairperson of Transparency International Bangladesh TIB, Mansoor Ahmad Chowdhury, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.Retired Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury as Senior Vice-Chairman and Chairman of Citizen Research Communications, Journalist T.H.M. Jahangir as Secretary General has been announced to form a committee with 23 members for the period of 2025-27.

Sylhet Ratna Foundation’s general meeting-2025 was held at Gulshan North Club on October 17, Friday afternoon. Ishtiyar Ahmad Chowdhury, the former chairman of the foundation, was the chief guest.CM Shafi Sami, former advisor to caretaker government was present.

Note that Sylhet Ratna Foundation has completed 20 years of its activities. The foundation was established in Dhaka on 1st September 2005.
