World Food Day celebration at Patuakhali University.

On the occasion of World Food Day on Thursday (October 16), the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Science of Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (Paviprabi) celebrated the day through various arrangements.
In the morning, a colorful rally from the front of the faculty circled the main main road of the campus. Later, cake cutting and seminar were organized in the meeting hall of Faculty of Agriculture. BesidesAnthropometric measurements and health advice were provided as day-long public awareness activities. Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. S. M. Hemayet Jahan. He said, “To create a hunger-free Bangladesh, we must first ensure nutritious food for all. Through sustainable agriculture and food production, we must build a society where no one will be hungry.”no At the same time, we need to raise awareness about food so that we take what we need and don’t waste it.”
Also present on the occasion were University Student Affairs Adviser and Dean of FBA Faculty Prof. Dr. Md. Sujahangir Kabir Sarkar, Dean of Law and Land Faculty Prof. Mohammad Jamal Hossain, Dean of Nutrition and Food Science Faculty Prof. Shahidul Islam, Patuakhali District Safe Food Officer Md. Abu Raihan,Assistant Professor Nazrul Islam, Mehdi Hasan Mithu, Sumaiya Shahreen and Lecturer Mohibbullah Rubel. Community Health and Hygiene Department Chairman Sujan Kanti Mali conducted the seminar.
