Two killed in terrible road accident in Trishal

Two people were killed in a terrible road accident in Mymensingh’s Trishal.
The accident took place in front of Bailor Bara Pukurpar Jame Masjid on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway early on Tuesday (October 21).
According to local sources and Trishal Police Station, a Dhaka-bound cargo truck (Reg. No.: Dhaka Metro T-18-9088) was moving and stopped in the middle of the road due to a front wheel blast.Meanwhile, another truck (Reg. No.: Dhaka Metro T-16-2616) coming at a high speed from behind hit the standing truck. Truck driver Al Amin (40) and his assistant Rashedul (28) were killed on the spot.
The deceased Al Amin is the son of Zainal Mia of Kalmakanda upazila of Netrokona district and helper Rashedul is the son of Mohammad Ali of Kalibari area of ​​Kotwali police station of Mymensingh city.
Trishal Police confirmed the incidentOfficer-in-charge (OC) Mansoor Ahmed said, “On getting information about the accident, the police quickly reached the spot and recovered the body. Two trucks were seized and brought to the police station. Initially, it is believed that the accident occurred due to the foggy weather in the morning.”
