Alauddin Al Rani's career in politics started in 1990 from Madhavpur Union Chhatra Dal. In 1993 he was the General Secretary of Thana Chhatra Dal, in 1996 of Upazila Chhatra DalPresident, and was elected General Secretary of Municipal BNP in 2001. So far, Paur has been serving as the general secretary of BNP for four times.
