
BNP’s election campaign in Savar: ‘Vote in a grain of rice’ slogan begins gathering public opinion
With the aim of implementing the 31-point program of the acting chairman of BNP Mr. Tarek Rahman to repair the state structure, a massive campaigning program has started in Savar. BNP Mahila Dal former joint secretary Tanya Yasmin started this program by distributing leaflets from Savar’s Chowrangi market today at 4 pm.
At this timeBNP leader Tanya Yasmin said that the campaign for the symbol of paddy has started from today in every corner of the country including Savar. We are presenting to the people the ideals of BNP and the 31-point program of Tariq Rahman to repair the state structure. Common people and traders of Savar are responding to our campaign. We are getting promising response from them.
Various areas including Chowrangi Market of Savar in today’s programTanya Yasmin met with general public and businessmen. He urged them to vote on the grain of rice symbol and encouraged them to work together to create public opinion.
He said, “We are moving forward in the ideals of martyred President Ziaur Rahman. Under the guidance of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman, we are trying to reach the people. We are trying to reach out to the people.I promise fair elections and good governance. A vote for a grain of rice is the main strength of our political movement.”
On this day, a bright presence of election campaign can be seen in various roads, alleys and business centers of Savar. This campaign is under the guidance of Dr. Dewan Md. Salauddin Babu Bhai, former Member of Parliament for Savar’s Dhaka-19 Constituency and Co-Family Welfare Secretary of BNP Central Committee.Tanya Yasmin said that it will be expanded.
He further said, “It seems that common people will be able to cast their votes freely in this election. Interest in voting is getting strong among people. We are always on the side of people and will work to establish their fundamental rights.”
