International Safe Day 2025 was held at KIB in the capital

Bangladesh Culinary Foundation (BCF) organized a grand celebration of “International Chef Day 2025” on Monday, 20th October 2025, at Krishibid Institute, Khamarbari, Dhaka.
This year’s theme – “Food Explorers” Bangladesh Culinary Foundation through this theme to highlight the culinary arts of the country at the global level andWorking to highlight the importance of food security and sustainable development.
Prominent chefs from home and abroad and honored guests were present at the event, among which the talent of chefs from home and abroad was evaluated through awards, crests and certificates.

Dr. Nazneen Kausar Chowdhury Secretary and Executive Chairman NSDA was present as the chief guest in the event

Md. attended the event as a special guest. Mohiuddin Helal, Director, Bangladesh Tourism Corporation.
Among others, Master Chef Nazim Khan, Chief Advisor Bangladesh Culinary Foundation, Chef Sahid Shahin, President Bangladesh Culinary Foundation were also present.was
More than 800 chefs and culinary professionals of the country, and students participated in the day-long event.
The day-long program included 1) Live Cooking Demonstration, 2) Culinary Competition of Young Chefs, 3) Awarding of Accomplished Chefs,
4) Panel discussions on food security, sustainable food systems and innovation, 5) Cultural programs and colorful rallies.
This chef’s day is the biggest in the culinary industry in BangladeshIt is of special importance in national and international scope.
Bangladesh Culinary Foundation President Shahid Shahin said, “Through this event, we want to highlight the importance of Bangladesh’s culinary talent, innovation and sustainable food system internationally.”
