Rally discussion meeting and distribution of helmets on the occasion of National Safe Road Day in Rangamati

On the occasion of Safe Road Day, a rally, discussion meeting was held in Rangamati. Also, free helmets have been distributed among motor cycle riders.

Under the theme of ‘Let’s walk on the road according to the law, build a smart Bangladesh’, Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) organized the Road Transport and Highways Department and the District Administration at 10 am today.The meeting was held in the conference room.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Habib Ullah (Maruf) was the chief guest in the discussion held under the chairmanship of Rangamati Additional Deputy Commissioner Mo Saiful Islam (General).

Additional Superintendent of Police Jasim Uddin, Rangamati Municipal Administrator Mohammad Mubarak Hossain, Roads and Township Department Executive Engineer Sabuj Chakma, Rangamati BRTA Assistant Director Md Salah Uddin and others.Leaders were present.

Before the discussion meeting, a rally was held from Hapid Mor area of ​​the city to the District Commissioner’s office. After the meeting, Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) Road Transport and Highways Department and District Roads and Township Department distributed free helmets among hundreds of motorcycle riders.
