2 kg ganja and drug dealer arrested in Mymensingh's Churkhai raid
Law enforcement forces arrested a drug dealer with 2 kg of ganja during the operation of the Narcotics Control Department in Mymensingh. On Wednesday (22 October) afternoon, the operation was conducted at Churkhai Panch Road intersection of Mymensingh Sadar Upazila.
Narcotics Control Directorate, Divisional Intelligence Office, Mymensingh Assistant Director Md Kawsarul Hasan RonirA special team under the leadership conducts this operation. At this time, a drug dealer named Santosh Rabidas (42) was arrested with 2 kg of ganja.
The arrested Santosh Ravidas is said to be the son of deceased Ghona Ravi Das of Kachari Pukurpar area of Ward No. 5 of Haluaghat Municipality of Mymensingh District.
According to the investigation sources, Santosh Rabidas was involved in the illegal trade of various drugs including ganja in that area for a long time. Secret newsBased on this, a team of Narcotics Control Directorate was stationed in Churkhai area and arrested him red-handed.
Later, the recovered ganja was seized and legal action was taken after preliminary investigation. In this incident, Deputy Inspector (SI) Md Mostafizur Rahman filed a regular case under the Narcotics Control Act at Mymensingh Kotwali Model Police Station.
