GST Batch Admission Test 2025-26: EB Convener, Pobiprabi Vice-President
The admission test will start from March 27.

The schedule and conduct for the 2025-26 academic year of Integrated Admission Test (Batch) of Bangladesh Government Universities has been decided. This time, Islami University (EB) and Patuakhali Science and Technology University (Paviprobi) are leading the batch admission test.
Thursday (October 23) at noonThis decision was taken in a meeting held at 11:30 am in the conference room of Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) building located in Agargaon of the capital in the presence of the vice-chancellors of 19 clustered universities.
It was decided in the meeting that the batch admission test for the academic year 2025-26 will be held in three phases starting from March 27 to April 10. March 27: ‘C’ Unit (Science Faculty), April 3: ‘B’ Unit (HumanitiesFaculty), April 10: ‘A’ Unit (Faculty of Commerce).
Islamic University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Naqib Md. Nasrullah is the convenor (chairman) of the cluster admission examination and the vice-chancellor of Pabiprabir. Kazi Rafiqul Islam has been given the responsibility as vice president.
In the meeting, member of UGC (Public University) Prof. Dr. Tanjim Uddin Khan said, “The cluster admission test is a positive model of coordination in the higher education system of Bangladeshhas been established as We want more universities to join this in future to ensure single exam opportunity for students.” In the meeting, the secretary of the UGC. Md. Vice-Chancellors of all cluster universities including Fakhrul Islam were present.
Professor Dr. Paviprabir Vice Chancellor. Kazi Rafiqul Islam said after the meeting, “Like last year, 19 universities under the cluster will complete the admission process jointly. UGC and EducationThe ministry will continue its efforts to involve other universities in this process.” He further said, “In today’s meeting, the date of the admission examination was finalized along with the announcement of the end of the previous academic year, review of financial accounts and formation of a new convening committee. The deadline for accepting applications and other relevant decisions will be decided in the next meeting.Those concerned feel that the sector has cost savings, transparency and reduced stress on students. This time, leading Islamic University and Pobiprobi authorities expressed hope that the admission process will become more dynamic, technology-based and student-friendly through joint efforts.
