An allegation has been made that a mentally unstable person was beaten to death in Habiganj’s Chunarughat. The name of the deceased is Mangal Rikiyashan (35). He was a resident of Sribari tea garden area.

Residents expressed their anger and said, “If the OC had taken quick action, maybe the body would not have been cremated like this.”
