Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (Paviprabi) is the first university of South Bengal and an important higher education institution of the country. Although not directly mentioned in the University Act, the constitution of the Central Students' Council (PAKSU) is included in the rules. Most of the campus students demanded Paksu election but the university administrationNo initiative has yet been taken from the side. Student council elections have already been completed in other universities of the country, and some universities have announced the election dates. Although the detailed constitution of the Central Student Council (PAKSU) and Hall Sangsad is mentioned from page 139 to 155 of serial 11 of Pobiprabi Rules, no election has been held here even in the last 24 years.
