The tri-annual general election of the Durgapur Upazila Road Transport Workers Branch Committee under the District Motor Vehicle Employees Labor Union (Reg: No- 2574) has been completed in Durgapur, Netrokona. The results were announced after the election on Friday (October 24) night. President said. Suman Mia Mia and General Secretary Nurul Haque were elected.

In this election, 3 candidates are contesting for the post of president, 2 candidates for the post of general secretary, 2 candidates for the post of vice president and 3 candidates for the post of office secretary. Among these 06 candidates among 10 positions are acting president – Md. Aliul Azim, Joint Editor Shyamal Kar, Co-General Secretary – Md.Altu Mia, Organizing Secretary – Md. Ujjal Talukder, Publicity Secretary – Md. Russell Mia, Treasurer – Md. Al Amin Khan was elected unopposed. Among the other 04 positions, President Md. Suman Mia Mia, vice-president. Nazrul Islam, General Secretary Nurul Haque and Office Secretary Md. Mojibur Rahman Saikat was elected.
