Autorickshaw collides with passenger bus in Narsingdi, 3 killed

Three people, including the driver of a battery-operated auto-rickshaw, were killed when a passenger bus ran over the wheel on the highway in Madhavadi (Dhaka-Sylhet) of Narsingdi Sadar Upazila.
The accident happened on Thursday (October 23) around 11:30 pm in Rainadi area of ​​Madhabadi upazila on Dhaka-Sylhet highway.

The deceased are Siam Mia (22), son of Azizul Islam, Sabbir, son of Altaf Hossain of the same village.Son of Hussain (28) and Rabiul Islam (autorickshaw driver) Fahim Mia (30). All of them are residents of Rainadi village of Nuralapur union under Madhavadi police station. The relatives of the deceased said that the three of them were going from Madhavadi to Rainadi in an auto-rickshaw at night. Itakhola Highway Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Monir Hossain said that one person died on the spot and two others died in the hospital after the speeding passenger bus ran over the wheels. After the incident, the police recovered the body and handed it over to the family. The killer bus was impounded but the bus driver and helper escaped.
