Colorful traffic week celebration in Pirojpur spreading awareness message

Traffic Week-2025 has started in Pirojpur like the rest of the country with the motto ‘Drive carefully, return home safely’. On Thursday (October 23) morning, organized by the district police, a colorful rally started from the district council premises and ended at the C office premises at the end of the main road circuit. Superintendent of Police Khan Muhammad Abu Naser was present as the chief guestHe called for compliance with the Road Transport Act 2018 and warned of strict action against violators. Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Abdul Awal, Sadar Circle Nasreen Jahan, Assistant Director (Engineering) of BRTA were present in the meeting. Mubarak Hossain, District Bus-Minibus Owners Association General Secretary Gazi Asaduzzaman Masum, District Labor Union President Alif Ahmed Rajib, OC (Investigation) Md. TariqulIslam, Traffic TI (Administration) Md. Moniruzzaman along with district police officers, bus owners and labor union leaders and journalists from print and electronic media. The program was conducted by Traffic Sergeant Shayla Sharmin. To restore order on the roads, the district traffic department conducts day-long traffic checking operations and action is taken against violators.
