Santhia Press Club’s Sports Secretary Abdus Sattar’s doa mahfil was held.

A doa mahfil was held on the death of Abdus Sattar, sports editor of Santhia Press Club, Pabna. This doa mahfil was held on Saturday (October 25) at around 4 pm at Santhia Press Club Hallroom.

Acting President of Press Club Farooq Hossain, General Secretary Ujjal Hossain, Zainul Abedin were present in the prayer ceremony.Rana, Abul Kashem, Mansoor Alam Khokon, Abu Ishaq, Aliul Islam Oli, Abu Sama, M.J Sulav, Tofazzal Hossain and others. Dua was led by the Press Imam of Thane Mosque, Ayatollah Osmani.

On September 26, Abdus Satta fell ill at his home at around 11:30 p.m. When he was taken to Santhia Health Complex, the doctor on duty declared him dead. Abdus is a resident of Dhopadah Bazarpara village of Sattar Upazila. heSanthia was the Sports Editor of Santhia Press Club and Santhia was the correspondent of Daily Shir and Gram Patrika.
