93 bottles of Indian liquor seized at Bholahat border

Chapainawabganj 59 BGB Director General has instructed every BGB member to be alert and active to prevent drug smuggling through the border. In order to implement the instructions of the Director General and to maintain its continuity, today 29th October 2025, a special patrolling team of Chanshikari BOP under Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) from Border Pillar 197/3-S.A special operation was conducted in paddy fields adjacent to forest canal in Chamucha village of Volahat union No. 1 under Volahat police station of Chapainawabganj district approximately 400 yards inside Bangladesh. In the operation, the BGB patrol managed to recover 93 bottles of Indian liquor (Black Hunt) in an abandoned state. Handover of seized liquor to Bholahat police station is ongoing.
