Human chain of custody demanding ISKCON ban in Khagrachari

Hefazete Islam Bangladesh Khagrachari district branch has formed a human chain to demand the ban of radical Hindutva organization “ISCON”. The human chain was held in front of Khagrachari Press Club on Wednesday morning.

Jatiya Ulama Mashaikh Aimma Parishad addressed the human chain under the chairmanship of the organization’s District Amir Maulana Qari Osman Gani and moderated by Finance Secretary Hafez Maulana Nashir Uddin.President Mufti Imam Uddin Kasemi, Hefazat General Secretary Mufti Shamim Hossain Farooqui, Khilafat Majlis President Maulana Akhtaruzzaman Farooqui, Islami Andolan Bangladesh President Maulana Delwar Hossain and various upazila leaders.

The speakers said that ISKCON is a radical and xenophobic organization engaged in conspiracy against the Muslims of the country. They are in the Alif murder case, Khatib’s disappearance attempt in Gazipur and torture of Muslim womenDemand justice for those involved.

They also said that ISKCON’s activities have become a threat to state stability. Therefore, the speakers called for the immediate ban of the organization and warned that if the demand is not met, an anti-ISKN movement will be formed across the country.
