Mahananda Battalion seizes 12 stolen mobiles and 272 Indian cosmetics in two separate raids

Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) seized 12 Indian illegal stolen mobile phones and 272 Indian cosmetics from Shibganj border in Chapainawabganj.

Members of the Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) are on the border as per the instructions and intentions of the higher authorities at all levels starting from the Director General of BGB.Always vigilant against any malpractice including suppression of smuggling. In continuation of the duty and professionalism of the BGB members, on October 29, 2025, the BGB members of the Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) conducted an operation in Sialmara village of Daipukuria Union under Shibganj Thana of Chapainawabganj district in 02 separate raids from the afternoon to the night and recovered 12 Indian used stolen mobile phones of different models and another one.During the operation, 272 different types of Indian cosmetics were seized from the Sonamsjid ICP area. The process of depositing the said seized goods in customs is ongoing as per the prevailing rules.
