
New order regarding land acquisition in Dhaka court: Report orders
A hearing of a petition filed under section 145 of the Code of Criminal Procedure was held in the Dhaka District Magistrate Court. After the review, the court issued an important order, directing the submission of a report on the land grab of Nalisi.
Additional District Magistrate of the court, Md. Shamim Hussain, gave the directions after reviewing the matterThat the Assistant Commissioner (Lands) concerned should submit a possession report specifying the boundary and schedule of the land complained of.
Besides, the court directed the officer-in-charge of the concerned police station to keep vigil on the disputed land and to take effective steps to maintain peace and order between the two parties.
Meanwhile, besides sending the copy of the court order to the Assistant Commissioner (Lands) and Officer-in-ChargeFixed 24/12/2025 for next hearing.
In this regard, it is learned that the 1st party was not given an opportunity to be heard, but the court directed for proper investigation and administrative action.
Administrative Procedures and Monitoring:
The Dhaka District Administration has already taken necessary steps and appropriate measures are being taken to maintain peace and order in Nalishi Bhoomi.
