Patuakhali University has no alternative to quality education and research to reach international standards— VC Professor Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam.

A day-long workshop titled “Climbing the World University Rankings: Strategies and Roadmap” was held at Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (Paviprabi). The workshop was organized by the university on Wednesday (October 29) at 9 am in the seminar room of the faculty of agriculture.Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the University was present as the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the workshop. Kazi Rafiqul Islam. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. was present as a special guest. S. M. Hemayet Jahan and treasurer Prof. Abdul Latif. IQAC director Professor Dr. presided over the event. Mahbub Rabbani. Treasurer Prof. Md. Abdul Latif said,”If the academic and administrative information of the university is properly presented on the digital platform, the position will improve in the global ranking. For this reason, every teacher and officer should fulfill the assigned duties with sincerity.” Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. S. M. Hemayet Jahan said, “The activities of a university is through the involvement of teachers and students in research and regular content updates on the website.Visible internationally. For this, every faculty and department should be more active.” Chief guest of the workshop Prof. Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam said, “”The status of a university depends on its quality of education, research excellence, innovation and knowledge-based contribution. Every teacher of Pabiprabi is our invaluable asset – only if their skills, enthusiasm and quality of research improve our university on the world map.will take place brilliantly. We want Pobiprabi to be not only the pride of Bangladesh but also known as a reputed research university in the international arena.” He further said, “Our aim is not only to improve the ranking, but to ensure sustainable learning and quality education. That is why we are emphasizing on teacher training, research incentives and increasing international cooperation. The experienced teachers of the university conducted various sessions in the day-long workshop. At 10:15 am, they discussed the topic of “Teacher Profile Update and Notification”.Professor Dr. Md. Samshuzzaman, Director, ICT Cell. He also gave guidance in the session on “Content Upload at Faculty and its Online Activities” at 12 noon. After noon prayer and lunch break, he conducted the session on “Content Upload at Department and its Online Activities” at 2:30 PM and “Updating and Monitoring Web Content” at 3:45 PM.
