A young man was called from his home in Chittagong and brutally hacked to death. The name of the deceased youth is Mohammad Hasib (26). On Monday afternoon, the police recovered his body from a drain in Hamzarbagh area of Panchlaish police station of the city. The deceased Hasib is said to be a resident of Jangalpara area.
Panchlaish police station officer-in-charge (OC) MohammadSulaiman said that the local people saw the body of a young man lying in the drain and informed the police. Later, the police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Chittagong Medical College (CHMEC) Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
The OC also said that the preliminary investigation revealed that Haseeb had an affair with the wife of a resident of the same area. Later, the woman married Haseeb after sending divorce papers to her expatriate husband abroad. of this incidentThe expatriate husband returned home last week and tried to bring his wife back to the family. He tried to convince Haseeb as well.
But finally the expatriate went to Haseeb's house yesterday and called him inside the local music residential area. There, Elopatari stabbed and killed him by cutting his throat and left the body and ran away.
Mohammad Saif, the brother of the deceased Haseeb, expressed his anger and said, "If you do injustice, justice will be done."Yes, but it is against humanity to call aquatic people from their homes and kill them in this way. We want quick arrest and exemplary punishment of the killers.”
Police say that an operation is underway to arrest the person involved in the incident.
