Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2026: Creative Publishing Karubak Manuscript Award Announcement
Of the 22 shortlisted books published, seven won the main prize, including renowned journalist James Abdur Rahim Rana.
Dhaka: Before Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2026, the creative publishing house Karubak has brought good news for the literature lovers of the country. The institution has announced its annual Manuscript Prize 2026, which is sent to this year's competitionRecognizes the best and publishable works among the manuscripts.
According to Carubak, almost all of the entries submitted to the competition are of high quality and publishable. However, 22 manuscripts were selected considering commercial aspects and readership potential. Among them, seven people, including James Abdur Rahim Rana, a senior journalist of Daily Nagrik Bhavna and The Country Today, have been announced as winners. The other threeIt will be finalized as a bestseller on the basis of sales at the book fair.

Besides, the list of specially selected manuscripts includes Ulan Pal's Bengali and Bengali Culture, SD Subrata's Rabindranath Tagore and his Shiksha Bhavana, MI Sheikh Billet's Neelpari and HM Zakir's Unwritten Statements, which continue to offer new perspectives and rich literature to the readers.
Karubak said, this year's book fairThey have selected 15 more books for publication. They include: Nishat Sarimin Jasmine's Alphabet Biscape, Farooq Islam's Earthy Scent, Sh. M. Ohiduzzaman's Red Mulat Mystery, Tanjim Ahmed Adnan's Young Generation and Bangladesh's Political Spirit and Fatima Nahar Banu's Passion for Chawa Pawar. Besides, various forms of stories, rhymes, poetry and thrillers will also reach the hands of the readers.
