Solid Cheebar Danotsav is celebrated at Benuban Uttamanand Dharmavan in Betbuniya, Kaukhali, Rangamati.
One of the biggest religious events of the Buddhist community, Tishak Cheebar Danotsav, was held with religious solemnity at Benuvan Uttamananda Dharmavan Buddhist Vihar located in Betbunia of Kaukhali Upazila of Rangamati District. Paschim Sonaichari Buddh presided over the Tash Chibar donation ceremony and reception held at the Vihar premises on Tuesday afternoon.Bihar Principal Bhadanta Naindabasa Mahathero.
Deputy Director of Local Government Affairs of Rangamati District Administration Md. Mobarak Hossain was the chief guest on the occasion. Nirmal Barua Milon, Central President of Chittagong Hill Tracts Barua Organization was present as the guest of honour. Rangamati District General Secretary of Biplabli Workers Party Zui Chakma and Kaukhali Upazila BNP Vice President Paiching Mong Marma were special guests.

Expatriate Ripon Barua gave the welcome speech and Jiban Barua, general secretary of the Bihar Management Committee, gave the opening speech.

Later, the chief guest, special guests and devotees donated chibars to the Bhikshu Sangha. At this time, the whole Vihar premises became resounding with the sound of ‘Sadhu, Sadhu, Sadhu’.
