A 15 kg python is released in Kaptai National Park
A python has been released in the deep forest of Kaptai National Park in Rangamati. The length of the snake is 10 feet and its weight is 15 kg, said the Kaptai range officer of the forest department, Omar Farooq Swadhin.
On Monday (November 10) at 12 noon, a python snake was recovered in Kaptai National Park under the guidance of Divisional Forest Officer of Chittagong Hill Tracts South Forest Division.is released. On this occasion, Kaptai Range Officer Omar Farooq Swadhin, Baraichhari Parikshan Fadi Officer SM Mohiuddin Chowdhury, Ram Pahar Beat Officer Mithu Talukdar, Shuknachari Beat Officer Abdullah Al Naeem, Sunayan Dewan, Kaptai Press Club President Kabir Hossain, local Kabirul Islam, Nazrul Islam and forest department people.

Rangamati Sadar range officer of Forest Department Shafiqul Islam said, Rangamati SadarThe python was caught in a net in the yard of Indu Bikas Talukdar's house on Kalindpur road on Monday (November 10) morning. Later, when the forest department was informed, the 10 feet length and 15 feet weight python was rescued and handed over to Kaptai Forest Department with the help of local people.
