Fraud by opening a fake ID, lab assistant Anik absconding since the case

Bagatipara Women’s Degree College Lab Assistant (Grade 18) Abdullah Al Anik has been accused of fraud and defamation by opening a fake Messenger ID in Natore. Accused fraudster Anik is absconding since the case was filed in this incident.

According to sources, Abdullah Al Anik is the son of Abdul Majid of Narigacha area of ​​Bagatipara upazila.alias Anik Mahmud (29) opened a fake messenger ID in the name of a person for personal gain. Rabbani staged a fraud in the name of the dealer (Golam Rabbani).

Anik created a fake screenshot of the subscription claim by distorting the conversation from that fake ID named ‘G Rabbani’. Later, a copy of that screenshot was taken from Kanaikhali in Natore at around 12:30 pm on October 6Send to Rabbani’s workplace through Sundarban Courier Service.

The victim journalist filed a written statement at Natore Sadar Police Station on November 3. It is mentioned in the statement that the accused Anik, using a fake identity as ‘Nazrul Islam’, spread false information through digital media and caused defamation and financial loss. It is claimed that the complainant has suffered a loss of around Rs 50 lakhs.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Natore Sadar Police Station Mahabur Rahman said, “The statement has been accepted as a case. Efforts are on to arrest the accused.”

According to local sources, Anik Mahmood has left the area since the filing of the case. He has been absent from the college since last Wednesday (November 5).
