District Superintendent of Police Muhammad Abdul Wahab inaugurated the inclusive education project under the “Inclusive Voter Education Project” at Panchbibi, Jaipurhat with the aim of enabling the backward tribal communities to participate in the spontaneous polling stations and cast their votes correctly in the upcoming national elections.

Tuesday morning at 11 am upazilaEducation projects and familiarization sessions organized by the Peoples of the Marginalized Development Organization (PAMDO) were held in the Adivasi Academy conference room. Pamdo founder Dr. Dwijendra Nath Sarkar presided over the meeting as Chief Guest, District Superintendent of Police Mahdoy, District Election Officer Md. Mahmud Hasan, Assistant Superintendent of Police (PanchBB Circle) Tuhin Reza, District Detective Police (DB) OC Md. Asaduzzaman Asad,Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Niamul Haque, PAMDO Executive Director Haimanti Sarkar, IFES Senior Program Manager Kaniz Fatema, Swarnabhumi Organization Executive Director Sarah Marandi, PAMDO GM Md. Shahabur Rahman.

The project is being implemented through 13 non-governmental organizations across the country. In continuation of this, two NGOs Pamdo and Swarnabhumi in Jaipurhat and Dinajpur districts gave dummy votes to tribal women.Conducted training workshops
