Allegation of misappropriation of project money against former UNO of Sarail Musharraf Hossain

Former Executive Officer (UNO) of Brahmanbaria's Sarail Upazila, Musharraf Hossain, has been accused of embezzling government project money. Some public representatives and local residents have complained about this.

Two projects of Ajabpur Bazar Basta Bharati Balu of Chunta Union were approved. Local UP member Moklechur Rahman's claim, twoThe total allocation for the project was 3 lakh rupees - 1 lakh 50 thousand rupees per project.

Moklechur Rahman complained,
"Uno sir took my signature to withdraw money for two projects but I was given Rs 1,50,000 for one project. The remaining Rs 1,50,000 was withdrawn by his people."

A few local people who did not wish to be named claimed that former UNO Musharraf Hossain was in charge of Sarail upazila during his tenure.He was involved in irregularities and financial corruption in the project. They complain,
"He has illegally grabbed several crores from us. He has damaged Sarail Upazila through corruption."

The local residents have demanded a quick investigation and action from the concerned administration. (first episode)
