At Patuakhali University, 55th Academic Council Meeting.

The 55th meeting of the academic council, the highest academic policy-making forum of the university, was held on Thursday (November 27) at the Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (PUSP). In this day-long meeting which started at 10 am in the TSC conference room of the university, important academic activities of the university, future plans and variousEducation-related issues were discussed in detail. The meeting was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam. Conducted by the registrar professor. Md. Iktyar Uddin. The meeting was attended by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. SM Hemayet Jahan, Treasurer Professor Md. Abdul Latif, honorable members of the Board of Regents and all the members of the Academic Council.Important decisions were taken including academic activities, course curriculum updating, improving the quality of students’ education, PhD degrees of 7 researchers, research progress and new academic plans. Speaking at the meeting, the vice chancellor of the university, Prof. Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam said, “Academic excellence is the lifeblood of a university. We want Pabiprobi to be a leading higher education institution not only in the southern region but across the country.”Let them strengthen their position as an institution. The decisions taken in today’s meeting will further speed up our academic activities and help ensure more quality education for students.” He further said, “We all need to work together to achieve excellence in education and research.
