Humanitarian initiative of BGB in Panchari: Distribution of wide range of aid including drinking water, sewing machines, house building materials.

Besides protecting the border, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has been consistently providing humanitarian assistance for the overall welfare of the people along the border. Apart from success in anti-smuggling, border security and maintaining internal law and order, 3 BGB Logang Zone also plays an equal role in public welfare activities.going on

Every month in Logang Zone, application verification for sewing machines for needy women, initiatives to solve drinking water crisis, and regular humanitarian activities are being conducted to help various needy people.

In continuation of this, on Thursday (27 November 2025) at noon, 3 BGB provided multiple welfare assistance to the remote Anj neighborhood of Panchari. Among these were- installation of tube wells to alleviate drinking water scarcity

During the distribution of notebooks and school bags among primary students in remote areas, 3 BGB Commander Lt. Col. Mohammad Rabiul Islam said, “Apart from border security and prevention of smuggling, BGB is committed to supporting the poor and vulnerable people in the society. Health protection of marginalized communities, ensuring safe water andWe are always playing a leading role in various public welfare initiatives.”
