Inauguration of the country’s tallest idol of Lord Krishna and International Gita Mohotsav-2025 was held at Palashbari in Gaibandha.
The Indian High Commissioner of Rajshahi, Mr. Manoj Kumar, inaugurated the country’s highest idol of Lord Krishna at Sri Sri Radha Govinda and Kali Mandir in Madhyaramchandrapur (Brindabanpara) village of Hossainpur Union of Upazila on Thursday (November 27).Later he attended and spoke at the International Gita Festival as a Swastrik. Gita was recited by Gopinath Das Brahmachari from Faridpur. At this time, district BNP president Gaibandha-3 BNP nominated candidate Professor Dr. Syed Moinul Hasan Sadiq and Palashbari police station officer in-charge Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and others were present. Before this, the founder of the temple welcomed them with flowers at the entrance of the templeShri Haridas Babu and other temple officials. The work of establishing 144 separate idols of Sanatan Dharma followers is going on throughout this temple.
