In Dumki Upazila, National Livestock Week and Exhibition.

In Dumki Upazila of Patuakhali District, National Livestock Week and Exhibition-2025 was held. The day-long program was organized on Thursday at the Upazila Parishad premises with the theme: Native breeds, modern technology: Livestock will improve.
Subhendu Sarkar, Deputy Director of District Artificial Insemination Center was the chief guest of the event. Upazila Livestock Officer(Acting) Dr. Md. In the meeting under the chairmanship of Alauddin Masud, Officer-in-charge of Dumki Police Station Md Zakir Hossain, Upazila BNP President Md Khalilur Rahman, General Secretary Md Saiful Alam Mridha, Muradia Union BNP President Tarikul Islam Khan, Juba Dal leader Jasim Uddin and others were special guests. Domestic cattle, poultry, dairy products, eggs and livestock-related innovations on the occasion of Livestock WeekTechnology stalls take place at the exhibition.
The program was organized by Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital and funded by LDDP project. At the exhibition, local farmers took advice from experts on production, breeding, disease prevention and modern farm management. The organizers said that through the application of modern technology and the development of indigenous breeds, new opportunities have been created for farmers who are lagging behind in livestock.will be Common people including farmers, students participated in the event.
