A young man named Royal Hasan Aranya (35) was arrested by the police in Chapainawabganj along with an American made pistol and bullets. He was arrested at the toll plaza of Mahananda Setu in Rehaichar area of ​​Chapainawabganj municipality at 4:30 pm on Monday, December 1. Chapainawabganj Additional Superintendent of Police NM Wasim Feroze confirmed this information. Royal Hasan Aranya is the son of deceased Al Mamun of Parchoka Madrasa Bazar in Manaksha Union of Shivganj. Additional Superintendent of Police NM Wasim Feroze said, based on secret information, a police team set up a check post at the toll plaza and searched the vehicles. At that time, Royal Hassan Aranya was arrested with a pistol, 5 rounds of bullets and two magazines from a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw. Aranya was coming from Shibganj to Chapainawabganj city.
Wasim Feroze said,The seized 7.65 (mm) pistol is American made. He also said that preparations are underway to file a case in this regard.
