Daudkandi Hanadarmukt Day Celebration: colorful rally and discussion meeting organized by upazila administration.

On the occasion of Daudkandi Hanadarmukt Day, a colorful rally and discussion meeting was held on Tuesday under the initiative of the upazila administration. This event was aimed at commemorating the great liberation war, paying tribute to the brave martyrs and informing the new generation of the correct history of the liberation war.

In the morning, a colorful rally came out from the Upazila Parishad square and circled the important roads of the city. People from all walks of life, including freedom fighters, public representatives, teachers, journalists, officials and employees of various public and private institutions, students participated in the rally.

After the rally, a discussion meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium. Speakers in the meeting held under the chairmanship of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) said that Daudkandi Hanadarmukt Day is a day of pride for the people of the region. On this day, the freedom fighters declared Daudkandi an enemy-free zone, making the Pakistani invaders hesitate. The speakers called for united action against sectarianism, corruption and social degradation by embracing the spirit of independence.

The speakers also mentioned,It is important to tell the correct history of the liberation war to the new generation. Only then, motivated by patriotism, the youth will be able to play a greater role in building the country.
