Patuakhali Varsity Football Tournament Champion of Fisheries Faculty.

Patuakhali University of Science and Technology Inter:Faculty Football Tournament - 2025 final game and prize distribution ceremony was held on December 7 at 3 pm at the university playground. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam was present as the chief guest in the program organized by Physical Education Department. Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. SM Hemayet Jahan, Treasurer Professor Dr. were present as special guests. Abdul Latif and Registrar Prof. Dr. Iqtiyar Uddin. In the said game, Fisheries Faculty defeated ANSVM Faculty with 1-0 goals and won the honor of becoming the champion. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam said, "Co-curricular activities at the university level play an important role in the physical and mental development of students. Sports are essential to acquire the qualities of discipline, mutual cooperation, and leadership. The sports environment in Pobiprobi campus is getting richer day by day. The regular participation and success of students in sports has made us proud. I wish that the students of this university will increase the glory of this university in the national and international arena and sports in addition to academic excellence." He handed over the trophy to the runner-up team. Dean, chairman, teachers, officials, students and employees of various faculties were present at this time. It is noted that 8 faculties of the university participated in this tournament. Competitive and enthusiastic games were held every day in this two-week event - where the participants participated in their talent, morale, competition and joyful atmosphere.
