6th December Sunamganj Pak invader freedom day. Sunamganj is an unforgettable day in the blood-soaked history of many martyrs on that day. In the history of independence, on this day in 1971, the freedom fighters in various parts of Sunamganj were defeated in the battle, and the members of the Pak forces liberated the then sub-divisional town of Sunamganj through Lion.

3 Surya-sons, including the martyr hero Taleb Uddin, were martyred in the battle to liberate Sunamganj. On that day, they proved with fresh blood that the Bengali nation is a nation of heroes, they never know how to lose. As a result, in the middle of the long struggle and in the thick clouds of the city, the red and green flag of independence is flying in the sky of Sunamganj, free from invaders, when the victory of the comrades of this merciless carnage turned into deep sadness.
