Upazila Press Club wishes the newly appointed UNO Arafat Siddiqui in Trishal

Arafat Siddiqui has taken charge as the new Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) in Trishal, Mymensingh. He officially joined his new job last Monday (December 1). From the first day of assuming responsibility, he expressed his commitment to work for the overall development and good governance of the upazila.
Prior to joining TRISAL, Arafat Siddiqui earned a reputation as Senior Assistant Commissioner (Lands) of Rajshahi district by performing his duties with utmost efficiency, integrity and professionalism. His accession has infused new enthusiasm and positive expectations in the local administration.
The leaders of Trishal Upazila Press Club met in a courtesy meeting at the Upazila Parishad office today, Tuesday (December 2) at noon to congratulate the newly appointed administrative officer. All the members including the president, general secretary of the press club were present in the exchange of greetings and introduction.
Trishal Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mahbubur Rahman, and other officials of the administration were also present on the occasion. All hearty greetings and congratulations to the newcomer UNO.
During the exchange of greetings, the speakers said that Trishal is a promising upazila. There is immense potential in education, culture, agriculture, industry and tourism. They expressed hope that the development of these possibilities will be accelerated under the leadership of the new UNO. Moreover, the commitment of the press club to work together with the upazila administration in the future was reiterated.
New Upazila Executive Officer Arafat Siddiqui expressed his satisfaction at being given responsibility in Trishal and said,
“Trishal is a traditional upazila. The people here are hospitable and promising. I will work with utmost sincerity to ensure development, good governance and public service. The positive role of media workers is very important in this work. I hope that the respected journalists of Trishal Upazila Press Club will support the journey of development by providing truthful news.”
At the end of the ceremony, flowers were presented to UNO by the press club. Later the meeting ended with a cordial discussion.It is expected that the joining of the newly appointed UNO will bring new momentum and vitality to the development and administrative activities of Trishal.
