Sheikh Hasina-Ghensa will not have any policemen on the soil of Bangladesh, not a single one.
Those who have oppressed people for years under the umbrella of power, no matter where they hide today, no one will escape the law.
In every district, every police station, every unit of the country, this biased, wrongdoing group has to be found. Name-identity-crime-everything should be documented and brought under the law immediately.
The state is not the slave of any individual. Law is not a slave of any party. Strict justice must be ensured for those who have taken away the rights of innocent people by making the police power a party shield. If necessary, a clean-up operation should be carried out within the Bangladesh Police—whoever the culprit is, it will be judged by the crime, not by rank.
A clear message—no one is above the law. Accomplices, harborers and perpetrators of wrongdoing—all must be brought together and made to face accountability. This is the demand of the people, this is the responsibility of the state.Journalist Mohammad Alam.
