A 12-year-old girl died after drowning in the river

A girl died after taking a bath with her girlfriends in Dhaleswari river in Mokna union of Nagarpur upazila of Tangail.
The girl is Toa (12), daughter of Suruj Mia of Betuazani village in Mokna union of the upazila, a student of class seven.

Talking to the locals, it is known that 3 girlfriends went missing to bathe in the water of the river on the west and south side of the Kedarpur bridge built on the Dhaleswari river on Saturday around 1:00 p.m. After informing the fire service, the diving team arrived at 3 pm and recovered Toa’s body at around 4 pm and handed it over to the family.
In this case,A shadow of mourning descends on the village.
