A young man committed suicide in Rupganj after not getting money from his father

In Rupganj of Narayanganj, a young man named Masum Mia (38) committed suicide by hanging himself after not getting the required money from his father.

This incident took place in Mahna village of Golakandail area of ​​the upazila around 8:30 pm on Thursday (December 19). The victim was Masum Mia, a resident of Mahna area.

According to local and family sources, Masum asks her father for money to go to her in-laws’ house at night. Father gave him some money but refused to pay more money as Masum demanded. Angry and insulted by this, Masum hanged himself in his house. The family members realized the matter and quickly rescued him and took him to a local hospital. The doctor on duty there declared him dead around 9:30 pm.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rupganj Police Station Sabzel Hossain said,After receiving the information, the police went to the spot. The body of the deceased has been recovered and further legal action is pending in this regard.
