Attorney Moin Chowdhury's book on the dream journey of immigrants is truly a love letter.
The book 'The Road to America: Immigration Hardship' written by attorney Moin Chowdhury, who has been working continuously for the rights and dignity of immigrants in America for two decades, is a true love letter to immigrants. This is a love letter. Congresswoman Grace Meng, who is known as a true friend of Bangladeshis and Asians in the United States Congress, holds such an opinion. On December 23, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Navanna Party Hall in Jackson Heights, New York City, Grace Meng also mentioned that Queens is home to the largest number of people of color and ethnicity in America. Bangladeshis have risen to a special position in this multi-ethnic society through honesty and skill. One of such wonderful peace loving community is Attorney Moin Chowdhury. We are very grateful to Attorney Moin Chowdhury's book. Because this is not only a book, it has been published at a time when many people in this country are in critical crisis and they should have an idea how they can get out of this situation and all those issues are given priority in this book. In fact, it is a love letter to the immigrant community—one that can help many people escape danger. I will be sharing the information in this book with my colleagues in Washington DC so that they too can be vigilant about immigrants. Pointing to the ongoing crackdown by President Trump's administration, the Democratic congresswoman added, "It's a really tough time for many immigrants, whether you're a recent arrival, a few months ago, or a 3-generation family member. We're under an administration where it seems like,We are not yet Americans. Even some of our family members or friends have not become Americans yet. Attorney Moin Chowdhury chronicles the hard-working immigrant's journey to Americanization—the experience he gained through legal battles. Congresswoman Grace Meng of New York's Congressional District 6, which includes parts of Flushing and Jamaica in Queens, also said, "A few months ago, an African American Muslim from my area was detained by immigration officials at JFK Airport and sent to a detention center in Louisiana while returning to New York after visiting his son in Texas. Needless to say, he has never been involved in any type of crime and is living legally. Like that Muslim woman wearing a hijab, countless immigrants are subjected to unnecessary harassment every day.
Grace Meng said, Attorney Moin Chowdhury's publishing festival is truly inspiring with the community awaiting Christmas Eve and English New Year and I thank Attorney Moin Chowdhury for writing the book.
Earlier in the introductory speech, Moin Chowdhury, the first Bangladeshi-American included in the US Supreme Court, mentioned that before that I was registered as a lawyer in the state of Michigan. In addition to more than two decades of courtroom experience in immigration law, personal injury and criminal law, I have also been involved in community activities as District Leader at Large of the Queens County Democratic Party since 2016. I am committed to the legal fight to make immigrants' dreams come true. I am working to address it by presenting the story of the plight of immigrants at all levels of administration. It goes without saying that all the media workers, activists and simple immigrants of this community have been and are genuine companions on this long journey. I am deeply grateful to everyone for responding to this event. Moeen said, "As an attorney and an immigrant, I have come close to many people on this journey, and have fought legal battles for many. There is some kind of emotion everywhere. This book also contains the details of fulfilling the duties as a lawyer, motivated by humanity. He said that the path of becoming an immigrant in America is very long and difficult, but at the end of the day, if you get dignity, the opportunity to live with dignity is unlimited, then it becomes a dream. But the current situation is not only contrary to the ethics of the United States, but also challenges the Constitution. Which has made the entire immigrant community disillusioned. Khabar Ibn News.
Why is it so difficult to come to America legally is the question of every immigrant. Written in the light of the overall situation, reality and experience of legal battles in the courts, this book reveals the inner soul of the US immigration system, which readers feel. Where faith-disbelief swings, patience and courage are tested. Attorney Moin Chowdhury's generous mentality and conscientious enthusiasm were also in the legal cooperation of the political activists who were victims of torture and oppression from returning war soldiers and brave freedom fighters to permanent residence in America. Attorney Moin Chowdhury has written it as a Bengali with pure humanitarian qualities.
On this auspicious occasion of completing two decades as an attorney, Moin Chowdhury reiterated his commitment and said, I want to say in an unequivocal voice that I will dedicate myself throughout my life to fulfilling the expectations of every immigrant for fair justice and realizing their dreams of a better future.
State Assemblymen David Weprin and Steve Ragha, Queens County Court Justice Cassandra A. Johnson and State Supreme Court Justice Carmen Velesquez and Justice Sandra M.
