Distribution of winter clothes under the initiative of BGB in Panchari

Under the initiative of Khagrachari sector headquarters, winter clothes have been distributed among people in the border areas of Panchari upazila.

Khagrachari Sector Commander Colonel Mohammad Abdul Mottakim, SPP, PBGM, PSC, G distributed more than 500 blankets to more than two hundred poor, helpless and distressed families at Baburapara Anupam Himanshu Sports Ground of Panchari Upazila of hilly Khagrachari on Thursday (December 18).

While distributing the winter clothes, the Sector Commander said that Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) will continue such public welfare activities in the future to ensure peace, harmony and development in the mountainous region.

3 BGB Commander Lt. Col. Mohammad Rabiul Islam, PPM (Service), Deputy Commander Major SM Nurul Kayesh, Logang BGB Camp Commander Subedar Mokhleshur Rahman and other BGB officials, local public representatives, headmen, shopkeepers and beneficiaries were present on the occasion.At this time, all those present pledged to cooperate fully with the Border Guard Bangladesh to maintain law and order in the area.
