Great Victory Day celebration in a festive atmosphere at Galachipa in Patuakhali district

Great Victory Day. On this day of the glorious history of the Bengali nation, the day has been celebrated with due dignity and festive atmosphere in Galachipa Upazila of Patuakhali district like all over the country.

The Victory Day program begins with 31 rounds of cannon fire at sunrise. Later, wreaths were placed at the Central Shaheed Minar and the Liberation War Monument on the initiative of the Upazila administration. At that time, upazila administration officials, brave freedom fighters, political leaders, journalists and representatives of various social and cultural organizations were present.

Bangladesh Reporters Club President Md. Masumbillah, General Secretary Md. Nasir Uddin and other members of the organization presented wreaths.
On this occasion, Great Victory Day-2025 was celebrated at the Bangladesh-Türkiye Friendship School ground organized by the upazila administration, Galachipa. A colorful and festive victory fair was organized on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of independence.

The freedom fighters of Galachipa upazila and their families, upazila executive officers, learned executive magistrates, assistant commissioners (land), police officers in charge, station officers of fire service, officials of various departments of the upazila, teachers, journalists, Ansar and policemen, village police and students of various educational institutions were present in the victory fair.The celebration of the Great Victory Day in Galachipa became a joyful and memorable one through various programs throughout the day.
