Preparation meeting of Khagrachari District Police to ensure the security of Christmas and Thirty First Night

On the occasion of Happy Christmas and Thirty First Night celebrations, a special discussion meeting on law and order and overall security was held by Khagrachari District Police.

Khagrachari Hill District Superintendent of Police Mirza Sayem Mahmud presided over the meeting organized in the conference room of Khagrachari Hill District Superintendent of Police office on Sunday (21 December 2025).

Representatives of Christian religious places of worship, Christmas celebration committee leaders, dignitaries and senior officials of the district police were present in the meeting.

In the exchange meeting, the Superintendent of Police detailed the overall security plan adopted by the Khagrachari District Police to ensure that the coming Christmas and the Thirty First Night are celebrated in a peaceful, safe and joyful atmosphere. He discussed with church directors and religious leaders various aspects of festival security, traffic control, patrolling and emergency response.

Meanwhile, the Superintendent of Police ordered the Officers-in-Charge (OC) of all police stations to take utmost precautions to maintain the law and order situation in the district on Christmas Day and Thirty First Night. He also directed to take strict legal action against those involved in any kind of vandalism, disorder or criminal activities.

The church representatives and local dignitaries present at the meeting were present during the festival.He assured full cooperation with the district police to maintain order.
