A two-day refresher training was conducted for youth forum members under the Eco Sundarbans project implemented by Panwar.

Workshops were held for capacity building on prevention of plastic and polythene pollution and on actions to protect Sundarbans.
The training was held on Sunday and Monday (December 21 and 22) from 10 am to 5 pm in the BRDB hall room of the upazila.
Upazila Youth Forum President Md. Zahirul Islam Sohag presided over the training program and Upazila Executive Officer and Administrator Rehena Akhter was present as the chief guest.
In the speech of the chief guest, he highlighted the importance of taking effective measures to prevent plastic and polythene pollution and protecting the environment of Sundarbans.
In the two-day refresher training with the overall support of Pirojpur District Project Officer Sahida Banu Sonia, various aspects of Sundarbans environment conservation, pollution control, impact on climate change, actions of youth leadership and awareness raising were discussed.
31 members of Upazila Youth Forum participated in this training.
After the training, the youth forum members expressed their commitment to play an important role in preventing plastic and polythene pollution and playing an active role in environmental protection.Md Milan Hossain and Nasreen Sultana were present as trainers.
