
Narayanganj district student welfare council announced new committee
The new committee of Narayanganj District Student Welfare Parishad with 125 members has been officially announced.
Former and current students of various public, private and national universities of the country have been included in the newly formed committee today Thursday (December 18).
ADM Bakir jewel president of the said committee, Md. Hasan has been appointed as General Secretary.
Also, Manik Miah has been given the responsibility as senior vice-president, Russell Azad, Khorshed Alam, Raju Ahmed, Babu Bhuiyan and others as vice-presidents.
Delwar Hossain as Senior Joint General Secretary, Zahid Hasan Saikat as Organizing Secretary.
According to the sources of the organization, the main goal of the new committee is to establish student rights, play a role in creating employment opportunities for educated unemployed youth, build a social movement to eliminate drugs, take a vocal stand against terrorism and crime and actively participate in building a just society.
The leaders said that by uniting the students of Narayanganj district, continuous programs will be taken to develop education, culture, social and human values. Besides, there are also plans to conduct awareness and welfare activities about the problems, potential and social responsibility of the students.
Through this new committee, the student society of Narayanganj is a well-organized,The stakeholders have expressed hope that they will get an effective and positive platform.
