At Patuakhali University, on Tariq Rahman’s homecoming, a joyous rally, discussion and prayers were held at the initiative of UTAB.

On the occasion of BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman’s homecoming day, a joyous rally, discussion meeting and doa mahfil were held at Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (PUBPRBI) on the initiative of University Teachers Association of Bangladesh (UTAB).
A colorful joy rally was taken out from the university campus on Sunday (December 28) at 11 am. The rally went around the main main road of the campus and ended at the TSC conference room. At the end of the rally, a discussion meeting was held at the TSC conference room at 11:30 am. University Utab organizing secretary Dr. ABM Saiful Islam chaired the discussion meeting chaired by UTAB president Prof. Dr. Md. Mamun Or Rashid. Vice-Chancellor of the University and General Secretary of UTAB Professor Dr. SM Hemayet Jahan. Professor Md. Dean of Faculty of Law and Land Administration was present as a special guest. Jamal Hossain, the University’s registrar professor Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman, president of Zia Parishad. Abubakar Siddique and General Secretary Agriculturist Dr. Hachib Mohammad Tushar.
Utab leader Professor Badiuzzaman, Professor Dr. also spoke in the discussion meeting. Md. Khokon Hossain, Professor Abul Bashar Khan, Professor Dr. Mohammad Atiqur Rahman, leader of Zia Parishad. Mahfuzur Rahman Sabuj, Dr. Aminul Islam Tito, Arifur Rahman Noman, Riyaz Kanchan Shaheed, Mahmud Al Zaman, Chhatra Dal President Zahidul Islam Ratul, Chhatra Dal Leader Rakibul Islam, Nationalist Employees Council Leader Md. Mahbubur Rahman and Md. Mosharef Hossain and others. Speakers thanked Almighty Allah Rabbul Alamin for the successful homecoming of Tariq Rahman. At the same time, he requested the full cooperation of the teachers, officials and students of the university in building a peaceful, democratic and prosperous Bangladesh announced by Tariq Rahman.
Tariq Rahman’s good health at the end of the meeting,Professor Mohammad Zahurul Haque of Crop Botany Department of the University conducted prayers and prayers for long life and success in running the country in the future.
