Homeland love even from a thousand miles away

Md. Alim Al Razi of Panchbibi Municipality of Joypurhat showed such humanity despite staying in London, about 5 thousand miles away from Bangladesh. He lives in the UK with his family and is working as a senior lecturer at a university named after that country. But he is an ideal soldier of martyred President Ziaur Rahman. Right from his college life, Shahid Zia got involved in Chhatra Dal politics. Rajshahi, known as the city of education, was elected as the Sports Secretary of New Degree College Chhatra Dal. After that he served as the joint editor of Jahangirnagar University Chhatra Dal. Al-Razi is serving as the Secretary of Jahangirnagar University UK Association during his expatriate life in UK. At the same time, he is the Acting Secretary of Greater Bogra Association of UK Expatriates.

Even though he is busy with work and staying in many faraway countries, his soul weeps for the poor, helpless, destitute and distressed people of his native land. This winter he arranged to distribute winter clothes among those people with his own funding. On Friday night, the winter clothes given by this humanitarian were distributed among the orphans of Quran education at Panchbibi railway station and an orphanage located in Uchai Bazar.
