Next generation should be educated in technical education: Ameer Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury
Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP Standing Committee member and former minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said, our children only want to become doctors and engineers. We parents want to educate our children in traditional ways. But technical education is most important in today's world. Technology and technical education are closely related in today's world. A carpenter or an electrician can earn as much as a doctor. Their position in the society is not lower than anyone else. Most children in China enroll in vocational education after matriculation. They establish themselves in life by studying and researching plumbers, electricians, carpenters. But it can be said that such a culture has not yet developed in our country. We have not yet developed such a mentality. A carpenter or electrician is also a professional and a citizen of social standing. We have to work from our own position and come forward to ensure his social status.
