Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila Law and Order Committee meeting held

The monthly meeting of Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila Law and Order Committee was held. The meeting was organized by the Sadar Upazila administration at the upazila parishad hall at 10 am on Thursday, February 26. Upazila Executive Officer Maruf Afzal Rajon presided over the meeting. Md. Nurul Islam Bulbul, the newly elected Member of Parliament of Chapainawabganj-3 Constituency, spoke as the chief guest. Officer in charge of Sadar Model Police Station Noore Alam, Upazila Animal Resource Officer Dr. Mosa Sharmin Akhter, Azaharul Islam of Sadar Upazila Engineer Directorate, Chapainawabganj Narcotics Control Directorate Inspector Md. Rafiqul Islam, Upazila Social Service Officer Kanchan Kumar Das and officials of various departments of the upazila were also present in the meeting. In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the overall law and order situation of Sadar Upazila, drug eradication, theft and robbery prevention, traffic congestion relief, market supervision and public awareness raising. The officials present highlighted various problems and ongoing activities of their respective departments.
In his speech, the chief guest said that to maintain law and order and ensure public safety, administration, public representatives and general public need to take joint initiative. He urged everyone to work together.In the meeting, various problems of the upazila were identified and necessary guidelines were given to solve them quickly.
